Catch Code Problems Before Your Next Push
Small-business websites and AI automations ship fast, but fast code can include leaked secrets, vulnerable packages, or messy changes. OpenQodex is an open-source code review tool that runs before your developer or AI agent pushes code. It checks only the code that changed, has 22 built-in scanners and runs the ones that fit the changed files—covering secrets, security problems, vulnerable dependencies, lint, GitHub Actions workflows, Docker/Terraform/Kubernetes/CloudFormation, and SQL/database migrations—then starts a second AI reviewer on the developer's own Claude Code or Codex login to confirm or challenge each finding. The result is a simple HTML report and a receipt with a verdict.
For example, Golden Rock could run OpenQodex on your website or automation project before each update goes live. If an API key or weak dependency slips into a change, the review is designed to catch it and give you a written report instead of a surprise cleanup.
OpenQodex itself is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license, with no account or API key of its own and no telemetry. You do need a developer using Node 22 or newer on macOS or Linux, plus Claude Code or Codex logged in for the full AI review.
